Free-Flite Bicycles donates bike rack to Carmel Elementary School
By GaryParkes

Carmel Elementary School students are very excited to have a safe place to keep their bicycles during the school day, thanks to the generosity of Dan Thornton, the owner of Free-Flite Bicycles. Dan Thornton and Free-Flite Bicycles have been serving the Georgia cycling community since 1978 in both sales and service; they have locations in Marietta, Canton, and East Cobb.

When Free-Flite Bicycles opened they knew their success would depend not only on the quality of the product they sold - but more importantly, on the quality of the relationships they maintained with their customers. Today that commitment is more important than ever and it shows in this generous donation. The hope is that more Carmel students, staff, and parents will take advantage of the new bike rack for health and environmental reasons.

Nic, Bryce, and Neva love the new bike rack.
